About
Our History
Our founder Michael is our main painter, and has been a qualified painter for over 30 years. This has allowed him to gain an eye for detail and expertise in all aspects of painting. Michael’s love for art and painting started back in school, which he attended in Sydney.
Michael moved up to the Gold Coast in the early 90’s, and went on to complete his Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship, in which he was nominated multiple times for Apprentice of the Year and won the award in his final 4th year. Michael has spent several years working in the Oil and Gas Industry refining and mastering his painting techniques and safety monitoring, and has worked on numerous movie projects at Movie World, completing movie sets and movie props through out this time. All of this varied and diverse experience has allowed Michael to master and perfect his painting techniques over the last 30 plus years.
Our Mission
At 1 Paint GC, we pride ourselves on our workmanship and our meticulous eye for detail. We dedicate 100% of our time and effort to every job we do, and always strive to complete it within any constraints such as time or budgets. Safety is our upmost priority on all
jobs both big and small, therefore we are fully insured, licensed and Michael also possesses a high risk license.

Our founder and head painter Michael has mastered projects such as; Houses, Town Houses, Units, Restaurants, Food Outlets, Offices, Shops, Business Spaces, Factories, Concrete Works, Corrosion Control and 2 Pac. However we also specialise in everything
from new works to repaints and cover all aspects of painting including; Domestic, Commercial, Roof Repaints, Special Finishes, Wallpapering, Timber Stains and Insurance Work.

Michael Adams
Founder
Having spent several years working in the Oil and Gas Industry, he was able to refine his painting techniques and safety monitoring skills. Michael has also worked on numerous movie projects at Movie World, completing movie sets and movie props throughout this time. He has also worked on many projects within the industrial and commercial industries over the years, ranging from retail stores such as Peter Alexander, Typo, Billabong, and other shop outlets, as well as Star Car Wash, Hungry Jacks, and a number of restaurants and factories. Michael’s diverse experience over the last 30+ years has allowed him to become a master in the field.
